Dr. C. Renee Coleman is the Founder and CEO of Coleman Academic and Career Services, LLC, an education and career consulting firm dedicated to helping high school students and their families navigate college and career planning with clarity and confidence. Dr. Coleman holds a doctoral degree in education and brings extensive experience across multiple areas of higher education, including financial aid advising, student support services, and first-year student instruction. Her academic background and professional experience uniquely position her to guide families through the often complex and overwhelming college planning process. As a former financial aid advisor, Dr. Coleman has worked directly with students and families to explain financial aid options, FAFSA requirements, and funding strategies. This hands-on experience allows her to break down financial aid in a way that is accurate, practical, and easy to understand—helping families make informed decisions without confusion or unnecessary stress. In addition to her advising experience, Dr. Coleman has served as an adjunct instructor teaching incoming college freshmen, where she supported students during their transition from high school to higher education. Through this role, she gained firsthand insight into the academic, personal, and organizational challenges new college students face—insight that strongly informs her proactive, early-planning approach with high school students today. Dr. Coleman founded Coleman Academic and Career Services, LLC after recognizing a critical gap: many students enter college unprepared not because they lack ability, but because they lack guidance. Her work focuses on helping students plan smart, prepare early, and confidently pursue future possibilities by combining structured planning with personalized support.
